Help break the cycle of entrenched poverty
This 12-day adventure across Vietnam is a true feast for the senses. After touching down in Hanoi, you’ll have the chance to explore this bustling city and visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to learn more about the country’s fascinating history.
From Hanoi, you will travel by bus and boat to mountainous Hoa Binh, where you will visit Ke village and become part of Action on Poverty’s community based tourism project. Here you will be hosted overnight by a young family in a traditional homestay.
Over five days you’ll visit rural villages along the way and experience traditional Vietnamese culture, with every kilometre revealing a new splendour.
You’ll then visit the dazzling Halong Bay with its limestone karsts jutting out of emerald water.
On our final day, we will enjoy a 50th Anniversary gala dinner in Hanoi, so make sure you bring your best cocktail outfit to celebrate! Action on Poverty has achieved so much over the past five decades, thanks to people like you who have fundraised for our important cause.
With every kilometre you trek on this challenge, you are doing your part to break the cycle of entrenched poverty in Vietnamese communities.
